Inside, the house is open, airy and features massive wooden beams. The day-room, kitchen and dining area are open-plan.
The 4 large double bedrooms comprise 3 chambers; the bedroom, a large walk-in dressing room and private, en-suite toilet and shower or a bathroom. The accommodation sleeps 8 people comfortably.
The upstairs lounge is very large and beamed and has two balconies that overlook the day room below and the garden. It has a TV with some satellite channels and a hi-fi system.
The central 'sejour' (living area) is open-plan enclosing a well equipped kitchen (Microwave, fridge freezer, hob & oven, dishwasher). The dining area has a farmhouse table that seats 10. There is also a comfortable sitting area with a log fire and sofa and chairs. Even when cooking, no one is isolated.
There is under-floor heating; a comfort for those who prefer visit in the cooler months.
There are 2 large en-suite double bedrooms on the ground floor. One has twin beds and a separate dressing room. The other, larger room has a king-sized double bed, a cot and a very large private bathroom. Both give direct access onto the sun terrace through their glazed barn doors.
There are a further two large en-suite bedrooms upstairs. Each has a separate dressing room. One has twin beds, the other a double.
There is a utility room with a sink, washing machine, chest freezer and secure storage area.
Outside of the house - there are several outbuildings; one contains the table tennis table, boules area, and a shaded sun terrace. There is adequate parking for two large cars. The pool area has sunloungers, sun shade and is fenced along with a security gate. There is external access to the utility and storage area.
